Wedding ceremony and reception
Saturday, August 30th 3:30 pm
The wedding will be in Breckenridge, CO at Dry Gulch Placer, a retired gold mine. Dry Gulch was a part of the Farncomb Hill area where "Tom's baby" was found, the biggest gold nugget ever discovered in Colorado.

The ceremony will start at 5 pm, but shuttles transporting guests to Dry Gulch will leave from 3:30 pm to 4:15 pm from Beaver Run Resort (620 Village Rd, Breckenridge, CO). We encourage guests to take the provided shuttle and arrive a few minutes early to explore the old mine buildings and socialize with other guests before the ceremony begins.

Shuttle pick up will be at the parking lot outside of the Front Lobby in the Commons Building. After the wedding, shuttles will depart from Dry Gulch beginning at 8:00 pm and will run throughout the evening. For a full map of the Beaver Run Resort click here.

If you are not staying at Beaver Run we still encourage you to take the shuttles. You are welcome to park in the large parking lot to the east of the Commons Building. Please check in with the front desk and tell them you are with the Hathaway/Worrall wedding to receive a day parking pass.
What should I wear?
There is no official dress code for our wedding, but we do encourage you to dress in your Colorado best! The ceremony will be held outside and the reception will be under a tent. Mountain weather in the summer is usually sunny and 70s during the day with temperatures dropping into the 50s at night, so make sure you bring a sweater or jacket. We also recommend wearing sturdy shoes like wedges or flats, as the wedding site is rocky and rustic . Cowboy boots are definitely appropriate! Need some inspiration? Check out this pinterest board.

High altitude tips
Breckenridge is a high altitude town with an elevation of 9600 feet above sea level. Here are a few tips to help prevent altitude sickness:
- drink plenty of water, both before and during your trip
- reduce your alcohol intake, especially for the first 24 hours
- decrease your physical activity
- take ibuprofen (Advil or Motrin) if you start to feel headachy
- make your ascent slowly by spending the night or a few hours in Denver
- if you have suffered from altitude sickness before, consider asking your doctor about a prescription mediation (Diamox) that may prevent altitude sickness
